8. Are there any medical conditions that affect the outcome of the treatment?
Unfortunately yes. Certain conditions such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and other hormonal imbalances can tell our body to grow hair, as well as the genetics we were born with. This doesn’t mean you can’t have the treatment, but it does mean the results may be slower and less effective. If the hormone imbalance is not cured or regulated the body will keep growing hair. However many clients still find the results worthwhile and a course of treatment will significantly reduce the amount of hair present and help to slow down re-growth. Usually clients have to continue with maintenance treatments on an ongoing basis to maintain the results.
